Technical Guidelines

IRT publishes the technical guidelines and specifications of Germany’s public broadcasters. Some selected technical guidelines are available in English too.

Access for employees of public broadcaster

Employees of public broadcasters (ARD, ZDF, ORF, DRadio, SRG/SSR, NOB, tpc) have free access to the technical guidelines by direct login with their CN-E-Mail-address – a registration is not necessary.

Access for others

Other interested parties will receive the access after registration. Full abo for 250 EUR + VAT valid for 12 months (all technical guidelines and specifications published by IRT)

Technical guidelines (without costs)  

Some selected documents are available for free. Therefore please select in the registration formular at "type of abo" the switch "nur registrieren".
