CONTENTUS
The THESEUS application scenario CONTENTUS is an important contribution to the preservation of cultural heritage and the safeguarding of cultural diversity in Europe. By using CONTENTUS, cultural institutions in Germany and other European countries will be able to integrate their cultural assets and works of art in an innovative and structured framework and make them freely accessible to a wide audience online.
The purpose of CONTENTUS is to develop basic technologies with which to access, archive and search for multi-media cultural assets and works of art.

TOSCA-MP
The R&D project TOSCA-MP targets the media production side and its workflows in broadcasting and media houses. The aim is to develop improved tools for content annotation, based on automatic feature extraction of AV media, and search tools for professionals in distributed/networked media production and archiving (television, radio, online). Under the scientific coordination by IRT, the system components will be integrated in a standards-based framework based on the principles of service-oriented architectures.

Wave Field Synthesis / BRS
BRS Technology (Binaural Room Synthesis), developed by IRT, allows the virtual realisation of listening rooms.
