At IBC 05 Conference the project gave a presentation on “Boosting MHP interoperability and MHP market strength through advanced Conformance Testing”. This paper was also presented to relevant MHP working groups and attracted attention.

In parallel, MHP-CONFIDENCE contributed to the Avista booth in the IBC exhibition area and demonstrated the interoperability of MHP applications before and after having applied advanced conformance testing to the receivers.

This demonstration also included demonstration of a small stand-alone playout system that can serve as an element of a complete ATE system. This setup was also used to run selected conformance tests, which however were modified in a way that the result reporting from the receiver to an ATE system was made visible on the receiver’s display by means of an additional controlling application.

It was further possible to browse through assertions applied to the system.
