07/19/2007 — IRT presentation of WiMAC@home and porTiVity at IFA 2007

From 31st August to 5th September the IRT will present the collaborative research projects WiMAC@home and porTiVity at TWF (Technical-scientific Forum) of IFA 2007 in Berlin. The consortia will represent their first project results at the common booth.

"Wireless Media and Control @ Home" (WiMAC@home) demonstrates a home network transmitting music, pictures and videos as well as radio programmes by streaming between entertainment electronics equipment and computers.

"Portable Interactivity" (porTiVity) demonstrates interactive broadcast applications on mobile handhelds via DVB-H.
