IRT and Scientific Atlanta, a Cisco Company intensify their collaboration in the area of broadcast technology for the benefit of public broadcasters’ demands.

Munich/Kortrijk, September 05, 2007: The Institut für Rundfunktechnik GmbH (IRT) and Scientific Atlanta Europe NV, have signed a contract under which IRT, with its renowned broadcast technology know-how and experience, will advise and support Scientific Atlanta, a strategic supplier of broadcast and broadband communication systems and video communication networks, through the provision of evaluation, testing, consulting and other services related to broadcast technology and its products. Furthermore, the parties agreed to collaborate closer, particularly in view of new developments in the area of technology and standardisation.
