1.1 When using our website

The data will not be used to personally identify the visitor of our website and they will not be merged with other data. The records of the IP addresses are deleted after 7 days. In rare situations, it may be necessary to temporarily collect additional data, to ensure the operation and security of the service. Any such logs will be deleted immediately after the issue has been resolved.
The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our interests (in terms of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) are the operation of our systems and the implementation of the protection goals confidentiality, integrity and availability.
1.2 When registering for events
On our website you have the opportunity to register for events. The data you must provide is marked as mandatory. Without this information, it is not possible to form a contract. We use the information to fulfill a contract of your participation in the event. If data for a customer relationship is no longer required or does not outweigh any conflicting interests of the customer, we will delete the data, as far as there are no legal requirements for storage.

During the registration you also have the opportunity to be informed about future events. We offer the option to unsubscribe for free in all of these information e-mails. 1.3 Contact and information requirements
When you contact us or request product information, we use your data to process your request correctly. If we can not process your request ourselves (for example, for inquiries about products that we market only through partner companies or which are not from our portfolio), we forward the request to the respective third party. We will ask for your approval in advance. Inquiries received by us can be stored in our CRM system. The CRM system is regularly checked to see if data can be deleted. If data for a customer relationship is no longer required or does not outweigh any conflicting interests of the customer, we will delete the data, as far as there are no legal requirements for storage.

1.4 Matomo (formerly Piwik)
Our website uses Matomo, an open-source software for the statistical analysis of visitor access. Cookies are not used with Matomo. The usage information is transmitted to our server and stored for usage analysis purposes, which helps us to optimize the website. Your IP address will be immediately anonymized during this process so that you remain anonymous to us as a user. The server on which the statistical data is stored is operated by us in our own computer center in Germany.
