Four new EU research projects started in early 2016 with following research focuses:
In the European project, 2 Immerse IRT together with BBC, BT, Cisco, CWI, Illuminations TV and ChyronHego are developing technologies for shared and personalized multi-screen solutions
The goal of the new EU project, MPAT is to implement a user-friendly and modular content management system for the rapid realization of multi-screen applications for HbbTV and the web.
In January work on the European cooperation project, Visual Media has started. Aim of the project is to develop solutions to embed real-time content from social media as 3D graphics in a television picture. Furthermore, secondary and interactive content is to be offered on a second screen.
In the Orpheus project a reference architecture and guidelines will be designed to show how workflows for object-based audio can be implemented cost-effectively into commercial production chains.
